Infant Room:
Our infant room will accommodate children aged 3 months to 18 months. Each child will be shown exceptional care from experienced staff members. Parents can feel secure knowing that we will provide a loving and attentive environment that will meet the needs of their infant. Parents can also enjoy the benefit of receiving a brief summary of their child's day, so they remain a part of their baby's progress. Your infants will also have exposure to music, art, media, and word, such as read alouds, classical music, etc.
Toddler Room:
Our toddler room will accommodate children aged 18 months to 36 months. Toddlers will be taught self help skills, such as eating and bathroom skills (ie. hand washing.) While participating in engaging age-appropriate activities, they will learn to sit for sustained periods of time, thus preparing them for the preschool learning experience. The toddler period will be an introductory stage where they are exposed to the basic fundamentals: numbers, shapes, colors, alphabet, etc. They will gain this exposure by engaging in song, rhyme, and physical movement. The social interaction during circle time, meal time, and play time will have a tremendous benefit on their overall growth.
Preschool Room:
Our preschool room will accommodate children ages 4 and 5 years old. Our certified staff will develop and implement lessons in the fields of Math, Phonics, Science, Social Studies, and Art. Students' interests will be considered and a variety of approaches will be used, such as music, rhymes, repetition and visuals. A multitude of hands on activities will be used to develop your child's fine and gross motor skills.
A preschooler's morning begins with Circle time, academic instruction and activities, in which the teacher will take a thematic approach. With a central theme in mind, children can successfully connect their learning across the various subject areas. Throughout the day, your child's physiological needs will be met, as snack, nap, and lunch times will be provided in between instructional and play times. The afternoon is designated for learning centers. Enriching centers vary weekly and may include dramatic play, building blocks, table games and puzzles, and much more. To encourage individuality, children can select an activity of their choice at the end of the day during our free time.
In addition to enthusiastic teaching and engaging activities, our preschoolers will enjoy periodical specials, such as "Movie Mondays" and "Friday Field Trips" where students can enjoy the company of their peers and extended community. Social development is always encouraged and so positive character education will be taught so that your child will acquire the skills of sharing, taking turns, treating others with kindness, and all of the other qualities that will guarantee your child a successful school experience.
